The Connecticut Women's Consortium strives to provide the best quality behavioral health education across all platforms. As with any online activity, the quality of our virtual trainings is heavily dependent on participants' individual internet connectivity; if available to you, we strongly suggest hard-wiring to your internet connection for the duration of the training. In addition, we urge you to access your virtual training utilizing a laptop or desktop computer, as mobile devices such as smart phones and iPads may lead to a diminished experience. This conference is being hosted through ZOOM and the link to attend will be emailed to registered participants a minimum of 2 business days ahead of the training. In purchasing a virtual training, you are acknowledging that you have read and understand the information above. Viewing Groups need not register provided that someone in your group has registered for the link. For more information or to request assistance contact the Education & Training department at email@example.com.

An experienced health & wellness educator, Kahseim Outlaw's journey on the inner path began with a simple YouTube search for a meditative practice to quiet the busy, and often overwhelmed minds of his high school students. What he ended up finding was the profound peace and clarity that came as a result of a personal practice of yoga and meditation. By immersing himself in the many areas of holistic living, Kahseim has been able to transform his own life and positively influence the lives of the students he serves. Kahseim has presented Mindfulness workshops for Wellness educators from across the state of CT, with the goal of empowering them with resources to mitigate the effects of stress and promote a more peaceful and enjoyable learning environment. Kahseim continues to offer and facilitate Mindfulness programs for youth with the aim of creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for all to practice self-care, relaxation, and inner management. Kahseim holds a Master’s degree in Integrative Health, a 200hr Yoga Instructor’s Certification, and has completed both Jon Kabat-Zinn’s 8-week MBSR Certificate Program and The Isha Foundation’s 3-day Inner Engineering Program. firstname.lastname@example.org.
